I find that having an inflated front tire can only help a car’s handling.

These always make me wonder what the hell merc were thinking. Sure a premium hatchback can be a good money maker but every decision regarding its design is bonkers.

A lot of the engineering wierdness is as a result of it being intended to have an electric or hydrogen drivetrain packaged in the floor- this never made it to production though. Also Mercedes didn’t have any FWD platforms available to use.

The exterior gets barely a pass in my book but the interior. What the fuck were they thinking for real. The E36 Compact that had an interior derived from the E30 but still felt better.

True. The high seating position is something to get used to because of the high ‘sandwich’ floor.
